In this module, you have learned about the similarities and differences between Legalism and Confucianism.

For this assignment, think about how each of these philosophies applies to modern America, and argue why one philosophy is the best for modern Americans to live under.

You must use evidence from this module to support your assertion. Make sure you address key aspects of both philosophies in your argument, and explain why your assigned philosophy is better than the other.

Your paper must be 1-2 pages in length and follow MLA guidelines (double-spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font, one-inch margins). This assignment is worth 15 points, and will follow the HIST 134 Critical Thinking Rubric. This rubric is available when you open the assignment.
