HET301A Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management

Order Description

This is a group assessment. My partner is covering the first two points, and i am covering the below points.

Each pair is to select a court case or incident that relates to the events, tourism or hospitality industry. (I have attached the full assessment brief)

We have chosen ‘The Hillsborough Disaster 1989“. There must be paragraphs in the notes section as we have to present this.
My points to cover are:
Legal Issues associated with the case
? Key legal issues e.g. the breaches in the duty of care owed, with specific reference to the legislation
Risk Management Issues
? Was the incident foreseeable?
? Consequences or impact of the incident to all parties
? Identification of risk mitigation activities that could have been undertaken prior to the
event / incident
? Appropriate risk controls that could have been utilized, making reference to the
hierarchy of risk control
