International relations in the 21st Century: How will the generational divide between the older (baby boomers) and younger (millennial) generations shape international policy particularly on the issue of security.

The research paper should contain all of the components (sections) of an empirical research paper, including discussion of data and operationalization. Thus, students should pose a research question, survey and review the literature on the topic and point to a theoretical answer (theory) to the research question. Then students should identify a method to test their theory and discuss a dataset (or how to collect data) to test their proposed theory and discuss expected findings and their implications.
