Irish writer

Choose ONE of the post-independence Irish writers from the list below and discuss his/her contributions to Irish literature and society. You may include the writer’s background and analyze two or more texts (prose, poetry and/or drama). Use historical, political, artistic, social and or cultural factors in your discussion. Be sure to use scholar sources and include full citations. The essay should be about 1100 words. Pay attention to spelling, punctuation, grammar and form, as well as to content.
