2nd Grade Star Tutor – 2011-2014 (102 hours)
​Assist 2nd Grade students with reading, writing, and mathematics. Correct assignments, and interact with the children and teachers. My involvement as Star Tutor has been key to the success of many young students. My devoted work in the program, and my ability to interface well with both the students and teachers, have resulted in requests to continue my role as Star Tutor for the last three years.

Angel Program – 2003 – 2013 (30 hours)
Participate individually in the Christmas Angel Program, to provide a better Christmas for children less fortunate.

Christmas for a Child – 2013 (10 hours)
Led the Firth Varsity Basketball team in Christmas for a Child Program, giving to children in need and providing a Christmas they will never forget.

Firth High School Sports Fund Raisers and Work Projects (60 hours)
Bagged groceries at the local grocery store to raise funds for travel to High School State Tournaments.

Cleaned the Firth Softball Field the last three years. Raked leaves and grass, moved dirt, mended fences, and pruned trees.

Cleared debris from local highways.

Participated in car washes and bake sales.

Caretaker and Pet Sitting – 2011-2014 (145 hours)
I have volunteered to watch the neighbors’ home and care for their animals while they are away. Duties have included: (1) feeding and watering a horse and donkey, and cleaning their stalls; (2) caring for two birds, feeding, watering, and cleaning their cages; (3) feeding and watering their cats and dogs; (4) irrigating their land, by opening head gates, pulling dams, and making sure the land has sufficient water; and (5) gathering their mail and monitoring garbage pickup.

Employment

YMCA Child Care Center – 2013-2015
​Care for infants and toddlers in summer day care program. I assist children in reading, writing, performing plays, feeding, and providing loving support to them throughout their day. Responsible for cleaning the center at the end of the day, including returning items to their proper place and sanitizing the entire children’s area.
